So the house I was so excited to live in is a no go. They gave it to an older couple, they did not want students in the neighborhood. Its not the end of the world I know we'll find another house. But Cori leaves for Hawaii tomorrow and I hate the idea that I now have to find one on my own. Its a little stressful...

I'm home!! Well I have been home. Since I have been home I have been working and working some more. I got a morning job at a doggie daycare! Pretty easy and should be fun. I will update more later!

The snow is finally starting to melt, I was able to move my car this morning. It was permanently stuck in the parking lot all weekend not even in a parking spot. I hope I am able to drive my car home this week. Its hard to believe that at this time last year I was running along the beach and right now I am knee deep in snow. The weather has just proved that I definitely belong back at ASU. I thought I would love the cold weather but I can truly say that I hate the snow.
I am feeling 100% better now, a week ago today I would be heading off to the emergency room to sit around and wait for 4 hrs. I had a kidney infection and I felt like I was about to die. This past week has been very lazy though, I haven't been going to many classes because I was so sick so I have just been writing papers and watching Tv.
Flava Flave was on last night, I am happy to say that Hoopz won. Regis and Kelly has become part of my morning ritual. I love the show and the two of them make me laugh.
I am not going anywhere for Spring Break this year but it will nice to go home an just relax. My family is in California this week so I'll have the house to myself on Thursday. I plan on laying by the pool a lot this break.
This semester has gone by so fast, I haven't particularly enjoyed myself this semester but it has flown by. I can't wait to move back to the valley and to move in with Cori etc. I just wish all of the nitty gritty work could be taken care of for me. I feel like I always have something to do, but it feels like I never do anything.
I am going to Anytown Jr. this summer and I am really looking forward to it. Camps still a ways away but I can't wait.
I had my friends in town from Scotland, Mandy and Lee. It was fun seeing them and I enjoyed having them over. I just wish I hadn't gotten so sick the weekend they were in town.
Rachel is turning 21 this week and I can't believe it, my little girl is growing up so fast!

I talked to Nichole today, its so great to hear from her, especially to hear how well she is doing. I miss her. We were able to catch up on a lot and theres so much more I can talk to her about now. I hope she can come back and visit soon.
So I applied to ASU yesterday, I am moving back too. I don't know, this NAU thing just didn't work out as planned. I am a bit disappointed I was looking forward to being up here and doing the whole college thing but it isn't what I expected. As of now the plan next semester is to attend ASU and move in with my friend Cori from the salon. Just thinking about moving into my own apartment gets me all excited.
I have been on/off sick for a good couple of weeks now and it is starting to piss me off. Whenever I feel any better the cough from hell starts back up again. I didn't sleep much this past weekend but aside from that it feels like all I do is go to class and sleep!!
So I am working up here now for the Alumni association its pretty much a telemarketing job. It sucks but its 3 days a week for like 3 hrs a day. I can pull through. Since I don't spend much money up here anyways its and easy way to save up for moving out.
I am working at the salon this summer which should be fun. I can't wait until schools out for the summer, not too long now!
Other than that there is not much else going on...

So I am back up in Flagstaff now. I turned 19 yesterday, it was a good birthday minus I had to drive back up here. I got Sex and The City the entire box set, jealous Rach? Tonight I will be starting from season one while drinking a glass of wine with my girls. Melissa bought me some wine for my bday. I also got a ring from my brother and sister, earrings from Alicia and Katie and Linzie took care of my and my sexual side. I have enough flavored lube to last a long while.
It is butt cold up here!!! Its how I was expecting it but I just can't get over that just a couple days ago I was laying by my pool in a bathing suit and now I am wrapped up in a scarf!
I am finished with my classes for today which is nice. I had an 8 am Spanish class which is early but then my next class is Womans studies. The teacher reminds me of a teacher from Harry Potter shes so cute and bubbly and I think the class will be exciting. Only two guys in the class, not a big surprise. Theres some hardcore feminists in there though, I hope they won't get on my nerves too much haha.
I think one of the girls in the class has a crush on me, or assumes I am a lesbian. All class today whenever I looked across the room she'd be staring at me, and then after class she came over to where I was to ask me if I could hand her a syllabus, yet she already had one, then she like grabbed my hand and smiled and said she would see me on Thursday. I will make her my new friend, shes nice.
It was a nice break, I am looking forward to Spring Break now too! I just hope that our little group can go to Mexico.
I got a flyer in my mail box today for the Chandler Unitown Reunion. I want to go but I don't want to be coming down to the valley so much. I think I will plan on staying up here and focus on getting a job and then next time I am in town I will make sure I see the staff members I still talk to.
I need to buy my books today... I am already feeling lazy, I am done with class today so now I am sitting here watching Laguna Beach season one. Ha, tough life I have. I am going to try and apply for the americorps job today, its like a volunteering job but I get paid living expenses beause I am a student. I am going to look into it.
Ok thats about it for now...
Oh I ran the PF Changs 1/2 Marathon on Sunday. I ran the whole way 13.1 miles. In two hours and one minute. I beat my daddy, it was fun though and I am not too sore now. I was in worse shape last year. Next year I will do it in under two hours. Ok well I am off to get some books for my classes.

I remember when I used to update the LJ everyday. Now its just about Myspace... a little depressing. Oh well. I have been home for almost a month now, I leave next Monday which also happens to be my birthday 1/16. I suggest you all give me a call! I really haven't been up to much since I have been home, I have been working at the salon and seeing some friends, but I have realized that I don't do a whole lot of stuff. I am looking forward to going back to Flag...kind of. I know I'll miss it here when I leave.
Last night was fun, we had a kickback if you will at Chris' house. It was nice to see everyone. I think the thing I miss most in Flag. is not having the group of guy friends up there. Its so much fun just hanging out with the guys. I have decided that if I do not live with my love bug (Kt) I will move in with a person of the male gender. I think that would be fun.
I am beginning to notice why I don't update much anymore, my entries are pretty pointless.

Ya know I am on here quite ofen, and I read all about everyone elses life but I never update on my own... To be honest there isn't much new with me. Thanksgiving was good, it was nice to have our regular traditionand see everyone. Rachel and I decided that we will keep this a tradition for life, even when we have our own families. I like that.
I have been kind of sentimental lately, I think its the time of year. We spent Tuesday morning in class talking about Strokes, for those of ya that don't know my gran passes away from a stroke last December. Its hard to hear all the success stories of people after strokes when yours didn't turn out so well. I still miss my gran very much and its hard to celebrate Christmas with my family without her here. Its scary how quick time passes it feels like it was yesterday when I had to fly back to Scotland.
I had to write a personal perspective paper for psychology, I pretty much bullshitted it but as I was writing it, it was kind of scary with the things I cam up with. I was talking about my personality a lot and, I realize now what kind of person I am.
College life is going good, I am sick of the food and I am very much looking forward to spending a month down in the valley for winter break. Us kids in Flag. call home "the valley". ha. Flagstaff is getting cold, I just wish it would snow already!!!
Nick and Jessica split, as ya all know or may not know I was a fan. I have the idea that a marriage will be as easy and as romantic as Newlyweds. I need to realize reality. Oh well I won't be marrying anyone anytime soon.
My last term paper is due tomorrow. I am almost finished with it, just have to do some formatting and citing. Its a relief to know that after this week school will be letting up quite a bit.
I am also attending a unitown this weekend. I know absolutely nobody. I am doing it as a favor and it should be fun. Its actually a minitown and I have never done one of those before so it should be a new experience for me as well.
I think that I have summed up a lot of what is going on in the life of Amy right now... if I think of more I'll make another entry. Hope everyone is doing well.

SO its 52 degrees out right now and the forecast says snow! This is good and bad. Good because well its snow and who doesn't love the snow? Bad because my halloween costume is a skirt and I will be cold. Oh well I'll stay inside. For halloween this year I am being a school girl with some of the girls in my hall. Well a nerdy/slutty school girl to be correct.
Lets see what is new with me??? School went really well this past week, I got an A on my Spanish test so that put me in a good mood. The semester has gone by really fast and I am enjoying it. I miss Gilbert a lot and just being home but I don't know, I like the fact of coming home and being super excited to see people and also having people super excited to see me, sounds a little lame but its the truth.
I taking a certification class to be an aerobics instructor up here, its time for me to make some money! I can see it now "Come on boys and girls lift those legs, higher, higher" ha. It should be a good time.
Katie has Halloween 5 on and its a little scary. I'm not even paying attention but I get all tense when the music comes on.
I don't know the actual plans for Halloween here, the family housing kids are coming trick or treating here from 4-6 and then I have class until 8. Before anything happens I have to watch Laguna Beach. LC tells Jason off this week. I liked Laguna Beach last season but ever since I have moved up to NAU I have become obsessed, its all of the electronics in such a small space.
So lets see, I don't think there is much else new in my ife, Oliver (my rat) is doing great, I wanted him to dress up for Halloween but I don't know if they make costumes in his itty bitty size.
